B.Des. in Game Design
Master the aesthetics and research methodologies of game development. Leadership preparation through extended industry exposure and advanced creative modules.
Train Hands-On From Day 1
Our B.Des. in Game Design isn't about sitting in lectures. It's about being in the engine, writing the code, and placing the assets. We simulate a professional studio environment where you will work in teams to conceptualize, prototype, and build fully playable games.
Graduates emerge with a powerful, multi-piece portfolio spanning mobile, indie, and AAA methodologies. Your thesis project will be a complete game ready to show to studios worldwide.
- ✓ Real Studio Workflows: Agile development and version control.
- ✓ Industry-Standard Tools: Unreal Engine 5, Unity, Maya, Blender.
- ✓ Mentorship: 1-on-1 guidance from veteran developers.
- ✓ Portfolio Focus: Leave with playable demos, not just essays.

From Year 2, students select a minimum of 3 majors from 5 core fields.
Short, intensive modules led by working industry professionals, layered on top of core coursework throughout the degree — not confined to a single year.
A 6-month studio-style project in the final semester of Year 3, built alongside ongoing coursework — required of every student.
Capstone Project — Term 2
- Studio-style team production, run to a real schedule
- Built alongside ongoing coursework, not instead of it
- The starting point for the Year 4 Capstone Track choice
The B.Des. adds a fourth year: further master class modules, and a year-long capstone taken down one of two tracks.
Additional Master Class Modules
- Further intensive, industry-led modules beyond Years 1–3
- Deeper specialisation in individual crafts
- Taught by working professionals from partner studios
Track A — Two Distinct Projects
- The Year 3 capstone is completed and closed out on its own
- A separate, new 12-month project follows in Year 4
- Two finished, independently scoped portfolio pieces
Track B — Combined 18-Month Capstone
- The Year 3 project continues directly into Year 4
